The boat's ready

I checked on the boat today and it is ready to start the trip. It currently is at G&R Marine in South Windsor. It's on the trailer, the electronics have been installed and tested, all systems have been put into working order and tested, and it looks beautiful. Our current plan is to begin the trip this coming Monday morning. After a brief familiarization with the boat mechanic our towing sojourn will begin.
I've checked the weather - as accurate as it can be this far in advance - and we appear to be in a warming trend on that date. As long as we get below Washington DC on the first day we shouldn't have any problems.
Now a long evening of reading the manuals...

LINDA SAYS.... I've started to pack my bathing suits & sunscreen! It's hard to believe that soon we'll be warm and have no snow to shovel! We're very, very excited!

Hi Ken and Linda (and Cory too). It's Tuesday morning. The temperature is around 5 degrees and the windchill is 20 below! I hope your trip is going well. Mary and I made the mistake of going to the Springfield boat show on Sunday. We couldn't resist and put a deposit down on a 2007 Chaparral 250. It's beautiful! We are still not sure if we should go through with it. Have a safe trip! Rich and Mary
